Players have bto go to make way for draft choices if nothing else. I have no problem with the delistings. They haven't shown enough to suggest they should be kept in place of others.

There will be more players to go but hopefully trades can be organised so we get something for them.

Just read that McKernan want to change clubs. I am not sure he is the player we need but we will have to consider him if he is available and a reasonable trade deal can be struck. I would want to pay him what he on now or give away anyone promising for him because he has to be a big risk.

if we cant pick up everitt, i reckon we will go for mckernan. we are desperately in need of a big man. first preference would be spider, but if he is going elsewhere, i'd definately go after corey. i think he needs a change of club.

Disappointed about Baynes, as every time he reached the cusp of selection, he got injured. Is understandable, though, all things considering.

It's just the stupid nature of the shorter-lists. In the days of bigger lists, you could've afforded to carry them and nurture them for 3 or 4 years.

Now it's virtually a case of immediate impact or out you go.

I'm disappointed about Baynesy as I had him in my fantasy footy team!

LOL - Hoggy was that a fantasy or a nightmare?
Sly - I agree about the short lists. The AFL agree too and that is the most relevant point. They want talent to be let go and picked up by clubs down the ladder. Unfortunately it works the other way just as often because the lower clubs turn over players looking for immediate success to take the heat off.
