Although it was a somewhat scrappy game, it was great to see the side respond to the Tigers challenge and kick away with the game.
I think with some fine tuning of the players skills and ball handling we should see the Pies up and firing for round one of the season.
We have the luxury of another opportunity to see the side on t.v. again this week while other sides travel to regional areas.
We will be at the Directors Hotel, 247 Gouger Street, Adelaide (upstairs) for the game which is scheduled to commence at 7:30 pm.
Fox is coming to the Directors Hotel.
As discussed in previous issues, Emilee at the Directors noted that she was attempting to have Foxtel installed at the Pub.
The fantastic news is she has come through, so it will only be broadcasting issues that will prevent us from seeing games
this year.
We now have a fantastic room in which to gather and support the Pies,an enthusiastic hotel manager and a young
determined team destined for success, we couldn’t really ask for more could we?
