checking out the stats on the cfc homepage, Cameron Wood leads the handball stats. BUT HE IS IN A LIONS JUMPER!
FFS, can't they update the bloody pictures and put up the new CFC picture in a Collingwood Jumper. Correct me if I am wrong but I thought the photos were taken about 2 weeks ago?
AFL Game Day also has him showing in a Lions Jumper instead of a collingwood jumper. Hello? the seasons started AFL nuffies! |

solid start from Wood. His first 2 contests were unbelievable against Sandilands.
Also made a few great second efforts in the centre bounce, crumbing his own ruckwork. One soccer off the ground went straight to Josh inside 50, and he layed off a nice handball on another occasion.
Was probably more effective than Josh in the ruck and took a solid mark when needed.
He is going to be a huge difference for us this year. _________________ There's more to life than footy.........just not much more. |

we have found our ruckman FINALLY. good pick up by the magpies.
he was good in the centre bounces. a few times he rucked ball went to ground and he would either get the ball again and pass to team mate by hand or kick ball towards our goal. he can tackle as well and kick goals |

Two great debuts today.
I thought Josh rucked too much in fact.
We can comfortably proclaim to all our AFL foes;
"We have got Wood!!!"
May I present to the jury exhibit A. This shot speaks for itself... _________________ "MAKE COLLINGWOOD GRATE AGAIN" |

Watch the second quarter with 2 minutes left...
The Scene: Centre bounce after a Travis Cloke goal
Wood up high and gets the tap down to Pendlebury who is pushed in the back, should of been a free.
Wood picks up the loose ball and quickly handballs to Rhyce Shaw.
Shaw back to Wood
Wood by hand to Didak on the burst.
Didak kicks inside fifty to ROCCCCCCAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
Not to mention that tackle in the fourth in the goal square that lead to the Rocca crumb and goal. Superb!!!
I think we can safely say that we have got the wood on all our opponents this year. Bring on the Cats!
Go the Woods!!! _________________ "MAKE COLLINGWOOD GRATE AGAIN" |

While I was watching Wood playing in Shepparton a few weeks ago, I sent a text to a mate telling him how impressed I was with Wood and to expect to see great things from this guy.
Great pick up Collingwood. _________________ Jacqui © Proud Pies 2003 and beyond |

Lets hope that's the way it pans out. Would love to see Wood develop into our number one ruckman with Fraser easing some of the load. No disrespect to Fraser intended whatsoever. I think with a big tap ruckman taking most of the load Fraser will become even more of a matchwinner. _________________ Be Staunch, Be Proud, Be Collingwood |
