I love my Verada!!
This will be a huge hit on Southern Adelaidians. Not just Mitsi, but all the component factories as well, such as Walkers( Monroes) Schefenacker, to name a couple. _________________ Kaylene.

Didn't Mitsubishi buy out Chrysler when they pulled out of Aus last time? _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Yeah Stui, in 1980.
This is such huge devastating news. They are saying that for every 1 job lost at Mitsi, another 5 could go in other suppliers.
When I had my Deli (Milkbar), whenever Mitsi had a rough month, it would effect our takings as well. _________________ Kaylene.

Last year Australian vehicle buyers pushed through the magic 1 million mark. Of the 80 plus models available in this country, both locally made and imported, only one car failed to increase it's sales volume.
That car?
Guess.............. |

Who cares who makes what. The current 380"magna" + ford and commode look identical. Same shite different badge.
Tough luck when many are placed on the bread line. _________________ understanding stuff, with endeavour to overstand.. |

If the 380 was rear wheel drive they would have done better. Parts and service will still be available and now all the Mitso's will be imported. Get use to this, it's just the start. |

I just looked at January 2008 sales figures.
Mazda, a full importer of cars, came 4th in sales. Barely 500 units behind Ford.
Manufacturing in Australia will be export Dependant in the future. Holden and Toyota do this best, so Ford may be the next to fall. |

Spot on, unless it's all wheel, rear is definitely the way to go _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

Fuel considerations will spell the death of rear wheel drive. |
