I'll do my best of course. Went for another ride around here today. Just not venturing too far. To go most places I'd have to get on a freeway somewhere.

But certainly enjoying it so far.

Well your taste in bikes is certainly better than your taste is helmets Laughing

Nothing better than a ride - the Black Spur on a lovely sunny day Cool

Welcome to the Kwaka club Maddy! (ZZR's still rule though). Agree Morri. That Barbie Girl pink helmet is way off the mark.

I was listening to the radio on the way home tonight and they were talking about the 3 year old that died at the weekend. Quite a spirited debate put up by the "kidsafe" representative.
I was though reminded that to help people make up their minds about motorbike something like real life results should be available.

Do not look at this photo if you have a weak stomach. You have been warned. This is not a joke.

You are sounding like an ex-smoker member. Let those who want to ride, make up their own mind.

And not sure that pic is something to be posted on here. Even with the warning.

member - it's our own decision to ride a motorcycle, and we respect your decision to not ride one. Please do not press your beliefs on those who enjoy riding. If you want to avoid any accidents in life whatsoever, then wrap yourself in cotton wool.

In a nutshell, sh** happens.

Damn, who forgot the salad and rib sauce? The three hundred odd car passengers who died in Victoria are no less dead member. Does it really make any difference how many pieces are left?

That thing with the 3 year old was tragic, but the people clamouring that kids can't ride a Pee Wee 50 until they're 16 have got serious issues.

The bike was governed so as not to go over 10kmh/hr but 3 is still too young where there is anything they can run into. They should at least be able to ride a normal bike without training wheels before jumping on a motor bike.

I've been thinking of buying a bike for a while. I've got my bike licence but haven't ridden for about 20 years and wasn't real good then.

Oh yeah, how responsible.

Now, while the death earlier this week of a 70+ y.o. motorcyclist is a tragedy for his family, what was with the motorbike advocate telling us that he admits motorcyclists break the law by creeping between stationary or slow moving cars and that car drivers should be more aware of the practice.
Here's a clue, stop breaking the law.

I ride an Honda XL 250. Older bike but i love it. Starts first go every time. I understand the point you are trying to make Member.

But as the joker said.
'If you're gonna go, go with a smile:) '
