Jock has an excellent point about our behaviour over the years when playing the developing nations. We didn't play India for years and wouldn't play a test series against Sri Lanka or Zimbabwe until pressured into it.

The fact that they were crap was one reason, the fact that there was no money in it was the other.

Still doesn't condone their behaviour.

Very Well Put Stui Very Happy

we treated some nations very poorly even nz. there was a time back in the late 70s, early 80s when we were atrocious, as bad as you could get. west indies were doing to everyone what we are doing.

the problem with most cricket nations is they defeat themselves too often with infighting, politics and what not. hard enough to win without eating your own at every opportunity.

I don't follow cricket, and have even less time for the Australian cricket team, but I think it's a bad thing in any realm when the more powerful can get away with whatever they want because everyone else is too scared to challenge them.
