Once the neighbourhood found out they were pork sausages, there didn't seem to be many people celebrating with us.
Why would that be? |
LOL pisser
It's a multicultural society Dale why did you not cater for all ? |
The sausages were donated, so unless we were going to charge for food, we couldn't afford anything else, especially with the way meat prices are at the moment.
Besides, we still had to buy the bread and other sundries, so the day actually cost us money.
I wonder if the gubmint will re-imburse us for our expenses. _________________ Whale

I'm with Omar on ya BBQ Dale, although twas no need for the hostile wording Omar.
Mind you Omar I wonder would a Muslim Country kill and cook food the way I prefer it to be done if I was a visitor or Migrant in their country? |
So if they were Beef sausages, would the Indians refuse to eat them too? _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I've just come home from a very conflicting weekend. Like most good Aussies I watched cricket and drank beer for 3 and 1/2 days.
But the beer was imported, I drank no more than 2 per day and I found myself barracking for the Indians.
Happy Un Australian Day!
Oh, and the sausages were continental _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

If you mean 2 cartons, well done.
if you mean 2 individual beers, I hope they were each the 5 litre kegs.
OH, and aren't most "continental" sausages based on Pork? _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Sorry stui, only 330 ml bottles
Yes the sausages are 100% Australian pig.
Done to an age old Italian recipe.
We cut their ears off, dowse them in petrol, shoot their kneecaps then set em alight
Then we mince them _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

Sorry Tess, you're probably right, but Dale hasn't exactly been charming to me (or anyone else that I've noticed), hence my intense intolerance.
RE Muslim countries, I don't know any that are as closed-off as you imagine, even Saudi Arabia has everything a foreigner could ever want. The times are a'changin', Tess, MANY Muslim men and women drink, dance, etc., just like many Christians get angry and support institutionalised violence _________________ I would be ashamed to admit that I had risen from the ranks.
