Post subject: Proposal: new Politics forum | |
|
I have no idea what it takes to get a new forum off the ground, but what do people think about a new forum for the discussion of politics and political systems ?
This would be a place where sherrife, david & frank can tee off at each other to their heart's content and it would give member an outlet for his political statements. It would save a lot of threads that start off being humorous or interesting from descending into tiresome political bullshit. |

i don't think it would save any threads, the threads would still morph into political debates and always will.
I'm happy to leave it as it is. _________________ Jacqui © Proud Pies 2003 and beyond |

lol, I thought that's what the VPT was...
I agree with PP. Threads do change, and probably still would, whatever measures you take. However, as it is clearly pissing a few people off, I'll try to avoid posting off-topic in the future, even if it is interesting. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Works both ways. I've seen a few political threads derail into something humorous, or some lame attempt at it. Probably guilty of the odd one myself

Noddy, if you don't like what they write don't read it. No one is holding a gun to your head. |

noddy, you're quite welcome to start your own threads of interest, you might be pleasantly surprised. Not my idea of a tavern either, don't have much interest in politics but usually find enough other stuff to keep me occupied. _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

So,
Liberals suck,
Greens swallow and
democrats take it in the ^&$%.
I guess all that's left to say is Labor does the first 2 in order after doing the third. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
