Post subject: Looking for a home for Sidney | |
|
Pls PM me if interested - A friend of mine is going overseas for 12 months and needs to find a home for Sidney, all expenses paid. Think of it as an Exchange program, instead of an overseas student invading your home for 12 months you get "a little bundle of luv" instead.
Quote: | Sidney
A small Cavoodle, 2.5 years old, looking for a carer for a 12 month period, as owner is going overseas. She is very friendly, playful and loves human attention which makes her an ideal puppy to have in the house. Familiar with other dogs and children. All dog related expenses will be covered including food, vet and other. You will ideally love dogs and be happy to have a puppy inside and provide short walks and plenty of cuddles. |

Sorry Culp - the dog and owner are from Melbourne (apologies to all for my Melbourne-centricness) |

I'm not into house dogs, besides, that thing would kill my bigger one. Get stuck in his throat.
Good luck. 12 months is a long time. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I may be missing the interpretation of what you mean.
I know "shotgunning" in two contexts.
1. Shooting something with a shotgun
2. Skulling a drink.
I'm not sure if the owner would be too impressed with either option. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Stui, it's synonomous with the slightly older term 'bags', or even more archaic, 'dibs'
It can be confusing though. If I were to post about shotgunning dogs, I might be talking about something different (not a dog lover...)
But even I'll admit that dog is cute. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Ta David, I hadn't heard it used in that context before.
As far as cute, it's a small white fluffy dog AKA one half of a good pair of slippers. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
