Well finally it is over and as most predicted a change in Government. I must say I am surprised the emphatic victory by the ALP.
Good luck to Rudd and his team for all Australians we can now only cross our fingers and hope they deliver.
I just want to say how much i have enjoyed the discussion on here and it was good (in most cases) to have personal abuse limited.
Politics sucks as far as I am concerned, and whoever runs the country ends up stuffing up after 4-6 years or so. And a change normally occurs. Democracy I do love and it is great that most on here had the dignity to respect eachothers position.
Thanks to all, I had fun. _________________ All this may be summed up in one word - CHARACTER - and if that is not worth developing, nothing is.

So when will we actually know the final results? I notice there are 7 seats with less than .5% in it at this time |

Cheers, if Liberal held on to all those 6 seats and maybe even won Swan, what would the final makeup of the house be? |

It would be about 83 to 63 or there abouts.
But labor are in front in 6 of those 7 seats, so it looks as though it will be 89 to 58 or there abouts _________________ The one man in the world, who never believes he is mad, is the madman. |

Exactly Peter, nothing special in EBB's figure.
I would expect as a business he was able to rort the tax system a lot more than PAYG citizens, therefore pay less. |

I see Liberals have taken the lead in 5 of the 7 close seats and also McEwen sees the Libs back in front as well |
