Kylie Minogue world tour cancelled for health reasons

LINGERING fears for the health of pop diva Kylie Minogue has forced her to cancel her much-anticipated world tour.

The 39-year-old singer, who recently beat breast cancer, had planned to discuss tour dates, costume designs and track lists with her stylist and adviser William Baker, The Daily Mail reported.

Only a few weeks ago, he had said: "I am heading back into the studio with Kylie in February to start training for the tour we want to do in June. It's going to be fabulous."

But Minogue told the Daily Mail she has now shelved plans to go on tour after being advised to do so by doctors.

She said: "The tour is not going to happen, it is far too soon. I can't do it next year. It kind of breaks my heart because that is what I'm in this business for.

"Not being able to go ahead with my plans is a real downer.

"Every woman has to face up to new priorities, near the top is health. I take my health very seriously but not obsessively. Everything is about pacing yourself."

However her management team have attempted to play down the comments, saying concrete plans for a world tour had never been made.

KYLIE Minogue's management has denied the pop princess has cancelled her 2008 world tour because of health concerns, saying there was no tour to cancel.

Minogue, 39, is back performing after overcoming breast cancer that was first diagnosed in 2005.

Britain's The Daily Mail newspaper reported today that concerns she may be pushing herself too hard had forced her to cancel the tour.

Although no tour dates had been officially released, Minogue's personal stylist William Baker revealed last month that the pop princess was planning to embark on a world tour just days after her 40th birthday next May.

But Warner Music spokeswoman Kylie Martin said there never was a 2008 world tour.

I am not sure where I read it, but I remember her saying she would like to tour next year.
Saying and doing are two completely different things.

After going through what she has i would be very surprised if she plays live again.
