That banner was aweful!

Have to say that after a few Wizza Cup games and being one of the few teams to go banner-less,I was expecting to see a beauty to kick off the season in a big game with a big crowd on hand.But what the hell was that???You have to admit Collingwood can produce something better than that.
I know the Cheersquad do a great job every week,we really appreciate it,much love to you all but that was a shocker that looked like it was done in a hurry.First game,all this time to work on a good one and we're left with that pitiful thing.
We had some beauties last year,the Melbourne match was a fave.We need to raise the bar.
We need to set the standard that all banners are measured by.

WORLD CLASS BANNERS!

make it creative,make it witty,make it funny,make it a stab at the opposition,make it spectacular.Just make it better than that beast.Even the Richmond banner was good.I was almost embarassed after seeing theres then seeing ours.

Don't forget you are representing all of us.Give us something to be proud of.Remember that the banner is a very important element of the team.Its like the cover of a book or album.Its the 1st thing people see that tells them they're about to see the greatest team in the land play shortly.It needs more thought to go into it.If need be,I'd be happy to contribute some suggestions for future banners.One side must at least entertain the fans while the other side must inspire the players as they read it when they come out.

I hope this has inspired and challenged you guys.Raise that bar.Remember: WORLD CLASS BANNERS and nothing less.

Ok Prez.... point taken....

Were always open to suggestions..... YOU come up with an idea.... then YOU go to the club and argue for it... and see how far YOU get.....

You know its all well and good to say we should have this we should be doing that.... but when it comes to hands on deck.... where are ppl like you... God knows we need them.....

Yea we had some good ones last year.... but ppl seem to have forgotten where to post their fabulous ideas...

Lets be positive people the Cheer Squad do there best each and every week to support the club that we all love so lets all get behind them and help out rather then critsize.

Hope some of these suggestions can help you out.I acknowledge you all do a great job for the club and sometimes club advertising takes priority but just wanted to make the point that Thursday's banner was below par and you can use that as a future reference.Hope my comments didn't come off as being offensive which wasn't my intent.Just wanted to highlight an area that may not receive the importance it deserves.Hope my comments inspire you all creatively and force other c/s to sit up and take notice of the standard the CFC is setting.

I will help make the banner this week after work. I invite everyone to come along and help out. Its very easy to say the banner was crap but let me tell you that it takes ages to make and the people that make the banner are very dedicated and hard working
