Post subject: Incident @ Mordialloc Pier 8/9/07 | |
|
Sat 8/09/07
I'm not really sure what happened today at Mordialloc Pier, but a woman was (allegedly) found wondering the streets with chains around her legs. Her husband drove the car of the Pier and both apparently, are in hospital. [view pics of their car being retrieved from the bay]---> _________________ understanding stuff, with endeavour to overstand..

It's not the 1st time a car has gone of the pier, only a few months ago hoons ditched a "stolen" car off the pier. _________________ understanding stuff, with endeavour to overstand.. |

Quote: | A HUSBAND chained and bound his wife inside their family car and drove it off a pier in a bizarre murder-suicide attempt, police allege.
Earlier, he had allegedly drugged the couple's seven-year-old son, leaving him comatose in the family home at Cheltenham so that he couldn't hear their violent domestic dispute.
The woman, 34, managed to escape the sinking vehicle and swim to shore despite having her legs fastened with chains and a padlock.
Police found her walking along Main St in Mordialloc at 3.30am yesterday.
Her husband, 41, was located alive soon after near the partly submerged car in Mordialloc Creek.
The almost fatal domestic dispute started at the couple's home. |
