What the hell are they doing at Collingwood, first they say that we need more xperienced players, then they go and do this. I notr made that they traded Williams, I am made that they traded him for nothing. The young players that we might pick up for Williams might good players in a couple of years, but I thought they wanted to get exprienced players to help the young guys we have got now. I really hope this isn't a sign of things coming.

Now i know we are moving foward if sav got the arse well then
so should willo.
Just remmember peoples malthouse coached a team to a premiership
not once but twice.
Malthouse is no fool.
Get a grip people cause what you are seeing now is a new collingwood moving foward.
Williams did get a fair go at collingwood he's been there since 1991 and rumoured to be on 300 grand a year.

Obtaining the no. 8 draft pick puts us good shape to get gehrig i believe. We now can afford to trade either pick 3 (if no stand out draftees) or pick 8 to west coast with a player or two for gehrig. Basically a 27 year old flashy yet inconsistent midfielder for a 24 year old mobile forward. Worth it i believe.

I agree with Joffa, for once in a long while collingwood have made the right decisions to get rid of mediocre, potential but highly inconsistent rocca and williams and give the young kids and hopefully some new blood if we can get daffy or gehrig or both.

I think I'm also with Joffa on this one. Willo has been an inconsistent player, yet awesome when in full swing. Do you guys remember how much we have complained throughout the seasons about Willo's inconsistency. For all we know this trade could prove worthy.
