Patrick Rose seems to just keep kicking goals for fun.
Do u think we will pick him up, I saw an article in Inside Footy on him and it says that the big bad Carlton are interseted im him, hope we can get him before they do. Those who have seen him up close, do you have any thoughts?

Was listening to Ben Davies on 'The Squawk' talk about Rose (who was his bum-tap). His said that Rose did the pre-season with Collingwood and was unlucky not to be picked, he did go on to say that we will pick him up this year...... of course that would be subject to availablity.

Interesting that Meyer and Limbach have dropped out of consideration after great starts to the year.

Meyer has been getting used as a tall defender, wasn't much chop on sunday...best game i saw him play was in the ruck but he would be undersized for an AFL ruckman
Patty Rose is an excellent small forward but do we really need another one? Davis, Didak, Medhurst and Thomas. If we rookie listed him to see if he could play midfield then it may be worth a shot.

I spoke with Dean on Sunday and he is hammy is looking good for the Tassie match (last round). Will be playing finals and is pretty pumped.
Good kid with a lot of passion. Just don't mention the Tigers or Wallarse.

surely we couldn't go wrong by rookie-listing him as a mature age (if needed)?
seems like a solid player. worth the punt.

Well, of course it's always hard to tell, but the way I see it if he's regularly outperforming Collingwood-listed players down at Williamstown, he can't be that bad.
Should give him a go on the rookie list, as suggested above. How old is he?

Seen him play once or twice and seems a real goer. He strikes me as a Milne type player

The Gap between VFL and AFL is huge. He struggles when the tempo lifts. Gun at VFL level.
