Wayne Arthurs is going to win Wimbledon!!!!!!!!! Who cares about a show where they crucify Didak and put the mozz on us this week (Except Lyon who has never tipped Collingwood in his life) |

Sorry Eddie. Couldnt care if it was Wayne Kerr Arthur or King Arthur for that matter, tennis still sucks big time IMO. As for the Footy Show, yeah its had better days, but up here any tid bit of AFL is good. _________________ Enjoy yourself. Its later than you think! |

If showing form at Willi is the criteria for selection as MM has suggested, then Medhurst certainly put his hand up last week from the reports. I wouldn't be surprised to see him playing from the square beside Reid. Two leading forwards, one tall, one short. Choice for us, headaches for the Dorks defence. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Well he's been named on the extended interchange bench, so he could still be dropped. I have a feeling he might be, actually.
Oh, and fantastic, we're probably going to have to drop Didak now.
And we thought we had a depleted line-up last week. Add to that no Didak and no Rocca. And we're playing the team in 2nd place on the ladder.
At least we've got Harry... but our defence is still pretty undermanned. We will need an effort at least as tough as last week to win this one.
prediction: Hawthorn by 60. And I'm usually pretty optimistic. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

I don't think we will drop Didak. He'll probably play a blinder too. |

Hawthorn aren't that small in the backline:
The talls:
Birchall - 192cm
Croad - 190cm
Gilham - 191cm
Jacobs - 189cm
Smith - 185cm
Brown - 177cm (lack of height hasn't bothered him)
The smalls:
Guerra - 181cm
Ladson - 179cm
Sewell - 180cm (Didak's opponent?)
Us:
Cloke - 195cm
Fraser - 202cm
Maxwell - 190cm
Reid - 196cm
We are certainly taller (so they will have to play tall), but an extra 5cms isn't much, you cannot bomb and hope especially given the three names above are all youths and the other needs to play in the ruck - still have to play smart football.
Let's just win how we do every other game we win - through the midfield and smart delivery to players on the lead. Don't get sucked into a height battle....half the job of the forward line is to keep in there. _________________ .....how many times you've saved my butt.... |

I guess they figured we needed an extra tall in cox.
Roughie --> Wakes
Boyle --> Maxy
Croad --> Harry O
Buddy ---> Goldy
Benny reid will have to play a blinder up forward, he has a chance as he is playing you would think on Gilham. Would suggest that Cloke doesn't really have a match up, maybe brown but the others more than likely can't go with him.
Talk about looking into the future;
HF: Ben Johnson, Travis Cloke, Alan Didak
F: Dale Thomas, Ben Reid, Josh Fraser
All will be around for another 6 yrs.
B: Dane Swan, Shane Wakelin, Nick Maxwell
HB: Heath Shaw, Harry O’Brien, Tyson Goldsack _________________ Like Nicks, why not donate
