To be honest I think he will be better then Cox. He appears to be more composed and to play this early in his career he must be doing something right. I like the look of him, he reminds me of a taller Pendlebury. |

I also mistook him for Pendles a couple of times, similar build and movement.
' was pretty much thrown in with the lions and apart from that early mistimed jump at the ball he looked ok, did a couple of handy things and shows some promise _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

A good prospect who will develop given time- he is hard at it and has some skill- he will keep out others of similar size and pace who lack these attributes!
Would like to see him put on some muscle and play a midfield role.
In my view he'll be a quick learner- far from disgraced... _________________ Firm in the belief that number 17 flag is only months away... |

me three.
Whether your coming back from an injury or making your debut players always say how the intencity, pressure and speed is considerably better on any given day in the AFL compared to the VFL, yesterday's game was at the extreme end of all catergories.
Yes he did make some mistakes but what he would have come away with at the end of the match is something that would usually take 4 or 5 games. He was playing in defence on a top player, i thought he probably should have been on Hahn, however he didnt have his colours lowered, showed enough to suggest that he has the right credentials for AFL footy and play 150 games for the pies.
Like Pendles, Toovey, Thomas and Cox he can play in multiple positions. |

I thought he was ok. Attacked the footy hard and was good at times under pressure. In saying that he had 4 kicked on him and that aint a pass mark for the day.
The first was bad in that he got outsmarted, but good in that he attacked the footy and will have learned from it.
Suspect he will be out this week for Clement but he learnt he could play at that level and will certainly develop for us. _________________ 'You da man' |

Yes he is probably competing with Cox for a spot in the team but he has the advantage of actually being in the team. Cox has to earn his spot back. Think both players are versitile enough to play just about any position down the flanks so the opportunities will come. |

I liked his game. Don't think that there was too much wrong with the way he conceded a goal to Higgins in his first passage of play, he looked to do what must have got him this far - attack the ball. He'll learn, and from there on played well, looked composed and is a beautiful kick of the footy.
Top bloke as well. |

Looked great again. I like this kid. He has a natural ability and is not scared to get in there. Naturally better and more composed than Cox but that is not to say that Cox has his place in the side as well. |
