I've seen the last bit probably about five times. I thought if I watched it more, I would get over it easier. But it is just awful.

I cant believe those of you you cant watch it again...Ignore the result...sit back and watch with pride as our boys played their hearts out.

I have watched it many many times, by myself or with fellow Collingwood supporters and/or supporters of other teams....and to a man all cant help but be impressed with way the Pie Boys played.

It will go down in our great clubs history as a watershed year and game for the CFC...something to be proud of..not ignored and never viewed again.

To be so close yet so far is unbearable for me. I am proud of their efforts but i wanna look forward to this year and not remind myself of how close we got. Opposition supporters will remind me enough.

I agree with you Drew - you've got to watch the replay and appreciate Collingwood's effort for what it was: gallant in defeat. It sounds trite I know, but still valid. I've lived through 1970, 1977 (both tie and replay) and 1979. Perhaps I'm becoming immune to GF losses, but geez I was proud of our boys in 2002.

PS: I've also had 2 winning Collingwood GF's in my lifetime, although I was blissfully unaware of the pies in 1958, more focussed on nappies and baby food.

Spent $$$ on buying the video but still can't bring myself to watch it. I know I was proud and excited by the boys efforts, I saw it live at the G, but just can't slip it in the VCR.

Still spewing that given the conditions on the day, MCG didn't get a game.
