where have u cowboys been? Antartica
Ben carried structural damage to his shoulder right throughtout the second half of 2002. U would have noticed the strapping. It also affected his overhead contesting - which a number of people unfairly criticised him for.
Had major surgery right after the season.
Not sure when he will be back but believe they are just playing it safe and holding him back from competitive work.
He is otherwise fit and rearing to go. Just waiting for all clear from the doctors to do competitive stuff.
Ben is well and truly in the plans don't worry about that.
Hopefully right for round 1 - but I dont know - maybe some one else has better info on this?

We have no listed player called "Beb Johnston" Also no "Ben Johnston"
We do however have a Ben Johnson!
According to the official Collingwood website, we only have one injury, that is Rupert Betheras, who should be available for the GF 2002!
So, no idea what the story with Ben is.

Roids played for Williamstown in the recent practice match against Box Hill. A little rusty, but got plenty of the ball. From what I could gather, he was playing out of the centre, possibly as a ruck rover.
