Post subject: Any Sightings? | |
|
I've driven to about 15 newsagency's today looking for the AFL Record. I'm pretty sure they are sold out but surely there must be some somewhere. The last one I found was on Saturday but I used the ticket for last nights game.
Has anyone seen any? Or should I give up?

Thanks I'm gonna check it out. I went to about 4 newsagents yesterday in the Doncaster area but I didn't bother trying Shoppingtown because I didn't think there would be any.

They had heaps outside the game last week.
I didn't bother buying them though as the queues at the gates where you hand the voucher in were so long so I paid at the cash only Marquee outside instead.

Yeah i stocked up last week as i was confident of beating Hawthorn. I have to locate a couple more for friends though. Springvale is a pretty good area as they dont seem to be popular there.
Most of the major shopping centre newsagents seem to have sold out

You could have redeemed the voucher at the Portable Ticket Booths, to the left of Gate 6.
Geez, I better get my copy first thing tomorrow morning.

I still didn't find any. I've given up now.
I'd drive to Springvale if I knew they definitely have them.

My local newsagency told me that even the supplier/publisher has run out, so available copies must be very scarce indeed.
Looks like I'll be paying full price this week (which, by the way, is an absolute JOKE, because the cost is similar to a regular season game! No wonder crowd attendances have been so poor!).
