Great News for all Collingwood Fans,

We can confirm that Collingwood Legend and 1958 Grandfinal Player Ken Turner will be coming along to the QCSC - Northern Army function on April 17th in Brisbane....we are very excited to have him come along, mingle and sit with us at the game. We have a number of Legends that we have approached and are yet to confirm them, but I will keep you posted.

If you are still interested in coming along to the function and wish to have a ticket to the game included then time is running out quick. If you would like to attend On a Function Only basis then tickets are now available at a cost of only $35, Check our website for more details http://northernarmy.magpies.net

Hope to hear from you soon

Cheers

Good to hear, Greg. I'll be proud to shake his hand.

In 1963 I saw Kenny Turner kick one of the best goals I've ever seen. He gathered the ball on the left wing at Vic Park and kicked the most perfect torpedo punt. It just stayed inside the boundary line but kept curving, all the way to the posts, and went through the big ones!

Donny.

THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN !!!!

Magfan8, that Ken Turner goal, was that against Richmond at Vic Park? If so, I was at that game. We lost by a point.
Ken Turner was good. Of course his son Jamie played in the 1990
oremiership.

Magpie Greg. John Greening is a legend to and is one of the guys we are trying to contact. There are quite a few past players living here in The Sunshine State and we have their names and contact details and we are currently engaged in contacting a few.
I can't let the cat out of the bag until we have more confirmed as we respect these people's privacy. All I can say is get ready for some BIG names to come up to be present at our function. And if you don't have a ticket to the full function $65, or our function only $35, then you will miss out on meeting and sitting in the crowd at the game with some of the biggest legends of the Collingwood Football Club.

SEE YOU THERE!!!!!!!
