McHale Stadium will also host a double-header on Friday, with Hawthorn playing its first intra-club match for the year at 11am, followed by Collingwood at 4pm. The afternoon match should draw a large crowd, with the Pies already up to 25,000 members.

Other than usuals (Bucks, Burnsy etc) that always play well, Didak was very impressive.
He was the dominant player on the ground.
Molloy seems to have finally shaken off the injuries that plagued him last season as he moved very well in the Forward 50.
Leon Davis backed up his performance in the ATSIC match, with another fine display.
Licuria appeared to roll his ankle in the last quarter, but was running it out on the sidelines during the last quarter.
Of the new blokes, Nixon and Shackleton look capable of playing some role during year (if required).
Woewodin had an interesting tussle with Bucks, with Nathan dominant at times but Woey also had passages where he did well.
We have been waiting a long time but maybe Ryhce Shaw could come good ala Andrew Symonds.
Shawy played his usual sweeping role but his much maligned disposal was increasingly better than previous years.
