Wizard Cup Tickets - Freebies!!!

Just caught a glimpse of the Wiz cup footy Record and season 2003 guide that is on sale at the newstands. Accross the top of the record it says you can get free entry into Wiz cup games courtesy of channel 10. Obviously you ahve to buy the recod, but as compensation for not getting free entry with your seasons ticket, it could be worth it.

I'm sure if you contact Car,Carl,Cart........(I just can't write it)football club, those blue poofs, they won't have many supporters going, so they would be happy to give away tickets, just to make up the numbers.HA HA HA!!!

Good stuff!! I'll have a look tomorrow. I saw that an adult tix to the pies game is $19.50 or something, is that right? Has that gone up? I didn't go last year so I'm not sure.

If the AFL want crowds to the wizzfizz cup they need to drop the prices....$10 max for adults and $5 for concession....kids should be allowed free entry.....

paying almost full price would be fine if the players took the matches seriously and put there full/best side on the park....
we all know that never happens.....

No CQ, free wiz cup games are not in this year due to the change from round robin to knock out comp. If the tics were free to your club and you got knocked out in the first round, what use would the second tic be?
The club has compensated with the cinema tickets.

Well I brought the mag today. $5.50, so I save $8.50 on entry cost, I'm happy with that, that will go towards the petrol cost on getting there.

Or did the AFL bump the prices up so people stay at home and watch it live on Foxtel in the comfort of their lounge room or nearest pub?? I think the AFL has lost the plot with their pricing.
