we were just having a discussion here at work.
If you are kicking to punt road end and there is a wind blowing from the west A. Rocca will be able sail a torpie from centre half back, considering there is no Ponsford Stand at the moment.
what are fellow nick readers thoughts.

That's a very good point Pepstar - and Ant's not the only player that can kick a fair way.
With a big westerly blowing, a selection of any of Clement, Didak, Buckley or Lonie could see the ball in the forward line VERY quickly after a kick in.

Waste of time if we've got the same goal umpire as we had in last year's big one. He'd call it a point !!!
Yep, I'm still angry.

Ive always found that saying a bit strange as none of the goals are directly at punt rd.
one goal is in front of the rail yards and the other faces jolimont station doesnt it?
mind you its a while since ive been there, punt rd from my memory ran along the wing of richmonds ground.

Depend on the time of the year, as the goal posts are moved anything up to 20 meters throughout the year. If the wind was coming directly behind Ant and the goal posts were at their extemities ie more towards Punt Road - he would get pretty close.
