Post subject: Valentines Day Advice Please!Reply with quote

Hello All
A girl asked me out at collage today. She gave her phone number to me. For the 1st date I want to make a good impression but i don't want her thinking I'm going to fast. Going out on Valentines Day (friday) is my idea and give her a red rose
Make it romantic

Need advice on how not to make a bad impression, where to go for 1st dates etc..
any help would be great..
HOPE SHE FOLLOWS THE MAGPIES TOO

LMAO Joffa!!

Movies are usually ideal because you aren't stuck at a table wondering what to talk about and if you go out for a bite to eat somewhere afterwards you can talk about the movie etc?

I hate to say it but Crown could be a good place because of Barcode and everything psycho there that can occupy time and help get to know her with out any awkwardness?

Anyway thats my 2 cents.. good luck and let us know how you go!

Take to a groovy bar/lounge in the City such as the Bond Bar, have a few quiet ones, get her pissed and take her home.

Well Ian I hope for your sake that she is a Collingwood supporter coz girls really don't like being taken to the football and being told it's a date....unless of course she's a Collingwood fan.....then again she'd talk about how cute Nathan Buckley is for the whole game and ruin your football experience.

Take her somewhere nice and if you can't take her somewhere nice could you please at least carry her tray for her at McDonalds.

On the Pull you mean? LOL i'm not on drugs. lol
I was thinking of going to a Pub for a quick drink and then movie. I'm not on the pull realy. Not the type to get a girl drunk for sex. Or even sex on the 1st date..

Any girls have some input?

grrr@Fradam!!! How could someone chatting about the Magnificent Nath possibly ruin a football experience? It would merely enhance it, I would have thought!

I suggest going to the movies but meeting up for a drink first. For instance if you go to Crown or Highpoint (and possibly most cinemas) you could meet up at a bar there, then go into the movie. You can always kick on back to the bar after the movie then too, if you think it's going well. If you meet for a meal though, it can be difficult if you find you don't really get along cos you're stuck there for longer than you would have been over just a drink. (Did any of that make sense???)

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree, so I'll move this topic over to that board and remind everyone to PM a moderator if they want to know the password to that board.
