What the hell is happening here in Melbourne?

Friday night we have the hoon mentality and their rioting and today we have the Serbs and Croats taking their intense hatred of each other to the Tennis. I thought they only did this at the Soccer when South Melbourne Hellas played whoever it was.

I'm finding all this violence disgusting and disgraceful.

If the Serbs and Croats want to keep fighting, do it in Serbia or Croatia, NOT AUSTRALIA!!!

Fighting's a perfect sideshow for tennis as the main event usually lacks any excitement.

The serbs and croats were probably just angry at the lack of good tennis players from that part of the world (Ljubicic is the only top male player I can think of from either of those countries).

Come to think of it, for a nation that is so succesful sporting-wise, we have a bit of a deficiency in top tennis players ourselves.

Well when you are in Australia other countries issues and hatred should be left in those countries.

Or if they feel that passionately then go back to those countries.

Half of these idiots probably wouldnt even know that they were fighting about.

Spot on JLC they wouldn't have a clue, but they fight because they are being told by other reletives not to like Croations or not to like Serbians.

No doubt that the majority if not all involved in those fights were born here(with strangley adapted accents all sounding of the same nature) with nothing better to do than cause trouble.

The tennis used to be such a good day out. However i feel now a days it has diminished in quality due to the fact that more matches are being played at night and for longer during the tournament.

That filters the quality of matches during the day.

Anyway hopefully this does not stop the Swedes, Germans etc from being able to come out in their colours and support their national players.

Actually this reminds me of a film called No Man's Land which was about the Bosnian/Croat conflict in the late 90s. Probably one of the most effective anti-war films I've seen.
