James Brown, the legendary US singer known as the "Godfather of Soul," has died at the age of 73, his agent said early today. Brown was hospitalised yesterday at Emory Crawford Long Hospital in the US city of Atlanta with pneumonia and died around 1.45am local time (1745 AEDT), said his agent, Frank Copsidas, of Intrigue Music.

Is that the only color was hospitalised at Emory Crawford Hospital in the US city of Atlanta with pneumonia and died 1point 45am local time 1745 AEDT said his agent Frank Copsidas of Intrigue Music?

The Godfather of soul dead. Another sad day for music. I actually thought James Brown was a bit older, but he was still very fit for his age. Truly inspirational. His music will live forever.
