today is the 18th anniversary since the world lost a true legend of the music industry, what a great voice and such great songs such as pretty woman, only the lonely, crying and blue bayou

if anyone doubts me watch the dvd called'black n white night and you will truly see the legend that was the Big 'O'

gone but never forgotten

my god has it been 18 years already? Good God, i thought it was only about 10 years ago that the Travelling Wilburies came out.

Yes, Roy was truly a magnificent singer and musician.

An extraordinary talent who will never be forgotten.

I never go more than a week without listening to his music.

If there is a "hereafter", I hope I'm lucky enough to get a spot near Roy and Buddy and Gene.....that would be heaven!

Roy Orbison had perhaps the most perfect voice in Rock n' Roll. and I was only young when he died.

His voice could hit a forth octave. If you had asked the king (Elvis), who his favorite singer was, he would reply the Big O. Great talent (just a bit dorky lookin tho').
