Getting to the game

Hi everyone,

First time poster. Just a useless thread, but how does everyone here get to the ground when they go to see the footy, both in their home city & when travelling abroad to watch the pies play?? Do you drive or do you get public transport? And what do ya think of both of them??

* Tram to train station then train to the G

I drive there trying to keep above the speed limit at all times and that includes interstate games

Taking the train there isnt too bad, its standing most of the way back that sucks

Agreed.... if you can i reckon the best means of travel is by car...get in early and when ya leaving run to ya car...we've done it the past two weeks and its worked a treat drove straight out of the carpark.

Weird thing with the car is if you enter through Punt Rd entrance the later you get there the quicker you get out. This becomes a delicate balancing act cos if you get there too late the park may be full

only game I've gone to this year, was by train to the G. Pretty easy, get off at Richmond Station and walk
