....has been delisted by the swans. you'd think this must have been in the pipeline for at least a little while. why did we not attempt a swap for davis instead of pick 23? not all that much of a fan of mott's but he's a ruckman and we need one.

that's crazy. that means the bastards really gave as the pointy end of a long pole with nicka snicka wicka dicka. unless of course we didn't want mott, he's not that tall, and he's slow. didn't stunner carve him up when we played em? can't remember.

He was really good value for the Swans....he is very young and has really developed well....Mckee was competitve but couldn't win a tap

Another back-up option in the ruck and we can starting thinking about back to back flags!

There has to be more to it. I mean, we would have gone after him if we knew he was tradeable.

i think its very possible that colless and friends wanted to shaft us as much as possible. they hate ed with a passion. they knew we wanted a ruckman bad, knew they had mott - who roos had not played since rnd 19 (unless he was injured) and kept us away from him knowing we had to deal to get something for nd. so they keep him, delist him and allow him to go to another club instead of us. bastards.

gary moorecroft has also been delisted - made my day. no mention of scotland although it was thought he may be released. is it 2pm or 5pm today the list has to be finalised? i thought it was 2 and if so, he's a pie for at least another year. good thing too.

IMO we should draft mott with pick 23 before essendon draft him. He is still young and the draft is weak this year so go the ready made tap ruckman to improve our chances of a flag. BTW was he the player who missed that gimmee against essendon and cost them the game.

I think that you will find Mott was delisted for being 12k overweight upon return for pre-season training. He wasn't highly rated anyway given their other ruckmen. I believe if we would have asked for him we would have received me but we don't rate him and were not interested, given our current tight cap squeeze, due to the acquistion of Woewodin, in selecting players for the sake of adding a player. Mott can win a tap out but is lumbering and useless around the ground.

and..........Ricky Mott missed a shot for goal from a set kick, 20 metres out in the last minute of the game, against Essendon.
