There is an article in the Herald Sun today saying that powell is looking to go into the draft because the dees haven't offered him enough. They got rid of Woey to keep him (and others) and now it seems they are going to lose him as well. Maybe Essenscum and the Dees can fight for the wooden spoon next year.

Powell is merely money hungry. He should consider who showed faith in him when he was injured for a great part of the previous years season.

To many players forget why they play the game of Football.

Does anyone know how much room we have left in our salary cap.

It could be a pretty good pre-season draft with all the quality names being talked about who can't seem to come to terms on new contracts, Grant, Colby?, Avery, Allen, Lappin, Powell etc etc.

I assume most of them would do a deal with their current clubs or be taken before we got a chance, but there maybe one ot two still available provided we have room.

Tonight's Ch10 news reported that several of the Dee's top guns, headed by Neitz, have approached the club with a pay cut proposal in order to re-sign Powell, Robertson and McDonald.
