For all you Mozilla Firefox users out there if you have not already got it I highly recomend you get your self an add on called fasterfox. It is magnificent and speeds up page downloads by a mile.

I just had a friend put me onto another add on from the same site that speeds it even more. The Adblock extension stops all adds from loading and increases the speed again.
