Disgraceful

Some of the comment made about nick davis has been unbelievable. Earlier this year 90% of u loved this guy and wanted him to stay now u hate him because he chose to go home. He chose to leave our club. What is the big deal. We have picked up many players the same way. Buckley, Rocca, Licuria, Obree, Molloy. What is the difference between these players and Davis. Nothing. He chose to leave collingwood to go home to be with his family. There is nothing wrong with that. he didn't do a wayne carey or anything like that. He played his heart out when he wore the black and white. It was the toughest decision he has every had to make and he made the decision for what he thought was the best for him. So I ask all Collingwood fans to stop this attack on Nick Davis. Ask anybody footy is a business now.At least he didn't leave for more money. I believe it's time we all move on and start to look forward to next season and our chances of winning a premiership

And you dont do that in my book.

Fair enough he went home, but did he have to tell everyone he was going to sign and then just walk out?

Yeah, lets look forward to that premiership.. and getting rid of Nick Davis was the first step to achieve that goal.

The club bent over backwards for Nick Davis to make him feel at home and feel welcome. How did Davis repay this faith by stalling on year on contract negotiations and then bailing out at year end.

At least a player like Headland has been up front since day 1 about wanting to go home. Lets face facts Nick Davis had a choice on whether he came to Collingwood as he came under the father son rule. Now all of a sudden he packs his bags and leaves ?? Collingwood deserve more RESPECT than that.

Just for the record the way we picked up those players isnt the same way. When we picked up Paul Licuria not many if any clubs wanted him as he had already had two knee reconstructions. He had struggled up at Sydney and Collingwood took a risk recruiting him. The Molloy trade was only organised because money bags Michael cracked the sooks and wanted to head north. Anthony Rocca stated from day one that he did not want to go interstate yet Sydney chose to recruit him. Shane Obree left Brisbane as at the end of the day they had a powerful midfield and he saw better opportunities else where.

well n e way i agree 100% that is very true everyone should forget about the past yr coz how is that mean to help us go forward if everyone goes on and on and on about it lets get over it and look forward to next yr!!!
