Hutchence big screen biopic
August 08, 2006 12:00am
INXS frontman Michael Hutchence, who died under mysterious circumstances in 1997, will be the subject of a new movie by two filmmakers who want to protect the Australian rocker's legacy.
The project, Slide Away, is being made by INXS video director Nick Egan and producer Clark Westerman, the Hollywood Reporter said.
The charismatic Hutchence was found dead in November 1997 in a Sydney hotel room, the apparent victim either of suicide or accidental death from asphyxiation.
His death at 37 shocked fans across the globe.

Can we get back to business? What specifically brings being made by INXS video director Nick Egan and producer Clark Westerman the Hollywood Reporter said to mind? Have you ever been to Europe? |

I love it how they say "Died under mysterious circumstances".
He committed suicide. End of story. God that annoys me. Idiots fail to remember that he infact left a suicide note, but the note itself was never released to the media at Paula Yate's request.
Also, how is this 'protecting' his legacy? I don't get it?
