his first wife and his brother wanted it sold to the media as they would get a cut of the proceeds....how tacky is that as well?

Walk a mile in their shoes before you pass judgement, what if they have costs you know nothing about? what if the money is for charity? what if it brings them a measure of happiness in their now sad lives? Who are you to pass judgment without knowing a single detail of their circumstances? |

i didn't finish what i was writing.
She wasn't involved with the Korp family for a long time. He hadn't seen his kids from his first marriage for years and years. It wasn't until Maria was found that he then got in touch with his 1st family.
It's still tacky to want money from it.

It's still tacky to judge someone and something you know nothing about, the true story never comes out in the media, I guarantee you that if your story ever got in the media you'd be laughing at their version of it, so to base an assumption on it is just pointless |

i commented as proto suggested it should have been kept for the family.....well, it was his previous family and his brother that wanted to sell it. None of them took his son into account.
I won't be commenting on this tacky thread anymore

It's the culture we live in. Sensationalism and media are sort of out of control I reckon. And there's always money to be made from tragedy. I know this sort of thing has been going on for many years so it's nothing new, and it's human nature to be voyeuristic, but that's about all the justifications that can be made. Whoever buys this should realise that by doing so they're continuing to endorse such a culture.
