Jon Anderson reported on 3AW at 7.25am that Freo are looking to off load Croad so that they can fit in either Chick or Headland in their salary cap.

Now before anyone says it is or is not fact or that I said it would happen all I am doing is repeating Anderson's words for your informed comment.

Anderson didn't elaborate as to where he might go.
IF it was true he would be a handy pick up for most clubs. The filth really need a CHF, I think they would chase him hard.

You would have to say that Trent can't get on with anybody (or were the Docker's just his 'rebound club' after the Hawthorn divorce?)

yes that is quite interesting news, now wait for the stupid media so say we want him, like EVERY SINGLE OTHER BIG NAME that is even thinking of leaving, or even if theyre not!

anyway we have clokey so we dont need to waste our money on croad, though he would be good. i think we need to get a full time ruckman (not necess spider). mckee does th job but hes better not doing it all the time. yeah.

Hey WhyPhilWhy? you saw that in today's Age? I thought I read that the Dockers denied he would be traded. Anyway, they said it was a rumour floating about a couple of weeks ago, and it included speculation of Croad to the Saints, Everitt to the Hawks, and Chick prseumably to Freo with a draft picks in tye mis as well.

All players attract teenyboppers GGO RUPE, not just hot players like Croady, not that im even a teenybopper, im a bit old for that. The reason i want him at our club is becasue as well as being absolutely gorgeous, he's a player with alot of potential who i think would slot in nicely to our game plan. As well as that, hes one of the nicest blokes ive ever met. I spoke to him at a pub once for over an hour and hes a fantastic bloke, which many footballers aren't. GO CROADY

as i think blackmissionary made mentioned, the dockers have dismissed the rumour. thats not to say it wont happen of course but i think its very unlikely.

He'd be nice in our side, but we don't have room for him THIS year! when Wakes or Richo retire, but not now. Unless you would like to see Clokey, say, on the wing (interesting though, imagine the kick ins...)
MM did put him at FF for one game when Tazza was out...

Anyway, he's probably too expensive to worry about. First priority should be ruck.
