Yep heard this rumour for a second time on 3AW this morning.
The caller said Johnstone and Melbourne cannot come to terms over his contract and because of that he has requested he be traded to Collingwood.
Both times I have heard this it has been on 3AW about 7.00am or just after. Of course John Burns is a huge Melbourne fan so it could be someone just winding him up - but you never know do ya.

Sure would be nice, lose ND pick up TJ both very good players. No net loss or net gain.

Hrm, I'd be alright with that, although a tad worried about his run with injuries. He's been with Melbourne for a few years now and yet to live up to the big reputation that usually comes with being a number 1 draft choice. But hey if he WANTS to play for Collingwood he's already worth more the Nick Davis right.

Murray, I heard this too, just about everything this time of year is made up, although this was rumoured about 6-7 weeks ago as well. I'd have him for sure if it were true. ND seems to make it into a lot of posts these days. Rowdy don't start I agree if a player WANTS to play for us (and who wouldn't) that is a good start.

Gee Harrysz, I think you might want to read the post again, no one who posted said he was coming to Collingwood. You see mate you have to read what is actually there and not what you think is there.

Didn't u know Harrysz? Johnstone is coming and so too is every player ever rumoured by the media that they want to be with the Pies. The AFL would fold next season, since all the good players will be with Collingwood and there will be no decent competition. We're just throwing thoughts out there man, don't take it all so literally.
