I had a bad day bombed out first leg of both the Sydney and Melb quaddies. Shoulda loaded up on Miss Zoe in the last in Sydney as that was a good thing. But by that stage i wasnt too confident........lol lol

Well i was thinking Bel Esprit for the Guineas but if it keeps raining then it may even get scratched as it doesnt handle the wet. Helenus was a mighty run on Friday at the Valley. Aint Here has also been there abouts and would be value i guess. However it is still pretty early in the week

I must have told you at least a half dozen times that I was going to Turnbull Stakes Day, JLC! You just kept going on about Guineas Day.

I kept an eye out for Nicky last week. I'm sure he will be at Caulfield. Guineas Day is normally chock a block full of footy players.

Can Bel Esprit run 1600? Should they put Smokey Treloar back on him and bump that mercenary hack Oliver?

See Bel Esprit may have lost previous two races but Spinning Hill and Pernod are quality horses and it is no disgrace to be run down by them. I have plenty of faith in Bel Esprit

Pity Mark Waugh isnt in Australia as his last tip that we saw the other week of the unraced Mardi Gras delived the goods big time Mark Waugh knows his horse racing!!!
