geez already im missing footy! i thought to myself hopefully cricket can replace it and entertain me for the next 26 weeks ad counting, but already ive got the sign from the pakistan vs australia tests that cricket aint anywhere near as good as footy, so im trying to stay in a footy mood.

i know its early but i'd love to hear everyone's pick for the bottom of the ladder, brownlow, minor premiers and where the mighty pies will finish!

hears mine:

WOODENSPOON: i think that the kangaroo's will definetly be on the bottom, they are a fighting team but they've got no fight left, Dean Laidley has already said he's gunna play the youngens so thats my tip.

BROWNLOW: i think this might be a bit 1 eyed but my pick is paul Licuria for the fact that he had a good year in 2001, he played a great 2nd half of the year in 2002 and will follow up in 2003

MINOR PREMIERS: i know ill probebly cop it for saying this but i think that Port adelaide will finish minor premiers! ( dont worry tho they'll stuff it in the finals )

COLLINGWOOD: i think that collingwood will finish 2nd next year, they were soooooo close this year and will be desperate to win the flag in 2003, we might have a hard draw but we'll prove who's the best team in the world!!! GO PIIIIIIIES!!!
