Marg, I believe the rule is you can only be inelegible if you are reported/suspended from a game where Brownlow votes are cast. That is if you were suspended from a report in a semi, you would still be eligible to win the Brownlow for that year.

Thanks Anthony. Although I think Lica will have to at least dye his hair bleach blonde before the umpires show him some respect and give him the Brownlow votes he deserves!

Yeah good point MargOZ, i mean those 3 players when at there best can be the best in the league, i dont think that the suspension disqualifys them from next years Brownlow seeing the all of the things happened during games in the 2002 season
Can someone tell me why people are so sour & bitter about Collingwood making the Grand Final and all I feel is Pride.
