He's been great for us and now it's time for him to go to the Sydney. I'm always going to watch him play because it's not his fault that his homesick. Why couldnt he have gone too a club with better players than we could of got atleast a fair trade. So who do we get now ?

Why would you want him to stay at the club if his hearts not really in it??? Home sick is just an excuse to me! The boy wants out "ON YOUR BIKE DAVIS" We need players that are passionate to play only for "OUR" club. Dont get me wrong, it will be very sad to see N.Davis go but at the end of the day we all need to build a bridge and "GET OVER IT".

abit harsh there guyz! c'mon he is 1 of the guyz who played in out grand final team...unfortunetly he didnt play well! but if u havent noticed he did get us there just like the other 21 players did! i am devistated that he is leaving but i am proud, because he tried his hardest to get us where we are! alright he hasnt has a good year but u cant help homesickness! i have been crying all day over this decission, but if its gonna make him happy well its the best thing 2 do! i am still gonna watch him play no matter wat coz i see something special in that kid and thats why he's my fav player and thats why he always will be!

We made the grand final and nearly won it based on one thing: teammanship..... Nicky D has displayed that he doesn't wish to be a part of that anymore. I have no interest in anyone who chooses that path.

His situation is different to someone like Sav, who loved Collingwood and would never have left if given the choice. Nicky D has pretty much turned his back on this family. He is a good player - why? because he spent years with us learning and progressing to that level. Thanks Nick - wish you had have gone last year. I'm bitter about this one!
