one of the big questions about this year is.................. who will win the mark of the year! will it be our boy from magpie land, anthony rocca with a great leap against the doggies! will it be the poof from (hair brush land), Thomson with a great mark against the dogs! will it be the young lad from (who gives a fat rats clacker land) steven coops with what i think is the best mark of the year! there are plenty others in that great bunch of marks but who do u reckon will win the mark of the year!?

When Anthony took THAT mark, he was the AFL'S leading taker of
contested marks. He was being touted as all-Australian. How things have changed. Someone posted a message on this board that O'Bree has a great opportunity to stand up, in this game. Well, the same goes for Anthony. We've lost plenty of games in the last 4 years where Bucks has dominated. I can't EVER remember us losing a game when Anthony has dominated. Go Pebbles!

Pebbles' mark was brilliant but not as spectacular as Nathan Thompson's from a TV perspective, because there were more in the pack. Thommo's will win but I reckon for sheer guts Jonathon Brown's beats them all....reminded me of the courage of another bloke named Brown from years gone by....

As if Rocca is going to win it! Have we all forgotten what happened last year when Tazza took the best mark I have ever seen in my life and they didn't give it to him! I don't think anyone from Collingwood can win anything it sucks!

If you saw the results of the "fan" survey in yesterdays H/S, you would see why we never win these types of things. Collingwood are back! We are the most hated club in the league, with fans of 10 other clubs nominating us as their most despised!
Ah, now theres a warm inner feeling.
Unfortunately, fans of these clubs occupy positions of power, in the AFL and the media, and use these powers to withold whatever they can from CFC.
Suppose we just need to get used to it.

I love the fact that other clubs supporters despise us!people are always bagging Collingwood...they all hate us so much that they hardly have time to support their own teams...I reakon people spend more time talking about how much they hate us than they do anything else.....and the fact that they talk about us so much can only make me believe that they envy us...and if they envy us.....then they want to be just like us.....but you know what...they never will be.

They are so jelous of us because collingwood is in our blood and they can never undewrstand why, even when we are not doing well, that we have a big supporter base...these are the people who wake up on a saturday and say "oh my tema isn't fdoing to well, i don't think i will go down to the ground to support them anymore" what a bunch of wankers....what i like about Collingwood people is that in those times, when we are at our lowest..WE ARE AT OUR LOUDEST..because unlike 90% of the other teams in the competition...we have a team that loves and embraces their fans...and sometimes their fans are the ones that carry them accross the line in a close one...or help them out when they are being belted to lift so they don't get huiliated....I am rambling I know..but I am proud to be a numbered with the people here as someone who truely Loves COLLINGWOOD....(see my mums quote below..it pretty much sums it all up) Roll on Friday Night...lets belt those wannabe pretenders Port into a bloody mess!!!

It would be great if Rocca's mark wins. This year I've also liked Jess Sinclair's couragous mark, Steven Coops and the Sydney player's mark against North recently, I think it was Leo Barry.

i don't know if any of you have realised this but rocca actually has two marks which are in the running ...he's one against the dogs was the best but pity he can't win it just coz he's from collingwood ...
