Hi All,
Can anyone help me out.
If we play finals games(in the 2nd week) when do the AFL play games? On fridays? Saturdays or sundays?.

Also, when we beat either lions or port in the 1st week when would we play next? in 2nd week or 3rd week?.

I know I have asked about this before regarding top 4 spots etc and thanks for the link to the AFL site regarding that, but I am a little confused about stuff as it's a little difficult to organise things like airfares, days off work etc if i get a ticket to the game that is(which i think will be harder seeing as all those bandwagon supporters out there) when i don;t even know what day to get over to melbourne.

Mags - where did you get that?

It was my understanding that none of the games were locked into defined times, mainly to enable manipulation to suit travel and TV arrangements.

The AFL site lists dates and times but don't know if they are set in concrete or not.

i wouldve thought the afl would be unlikely to schedule an interstate game for friday night. if this happens, bucks probably wont play but if we get a weekend game, his 21+ days of recovery will be up.

We have been discussing the chances of us playing our qualifying final on Friday night or Saturday night over at From the Outer, including the six-day break rule that you haven't mentioned. Here is the link if you are interested:

Thanks to all who answered my question*s*.esp:Mags and Marg.

I think I have it sorted out now*lol*. Would u get a better chance of getting a ticket to a final's game if you are a member?
It says in the booklet that u get a guranteed finals ticket. Never had to worry about getting finals tickets before*s*.
