I doubt it would be any different. Atleast, my opinion wouldn't be. |

I can't believe you guys.
This person represented his country at the Athens Olympics.
No fuss was made then, so why now?
If there was an Australian in a similar position we would have no problem sending him/her to represent us, particularly if there was a medal chance.
So much for our supposed system of justice. seems even when you do the time you are still punished. |

Why now? Because he is entering Australia and not Athens. He killed his daughter FFS. I wouldn't want such a person to represent Australia. |

He killed his daughter, and served his full sentence Joel. I don't kow the details of the case, but if he only served four years, it suggests to me that it was manslaughter/negligence as not beating her to death/murder. Comments such as "He killed his daughter FFS" suggest to me you think this guy threw his daughter out of a window or something.
The guy is here for two weeks to box. Let him. |

To be honest, I think he should be allowed to compete. I mean, he's done his time (4 years though? how the hell did he get away with that much) and presumably is no longer considered a threat to society. The olympics is about the best athlete, not the noblest. I'm sure crims have competed in the past. Whether he should be free from jail or not is a completely different matter though, and an interesting one too. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

And to only recieve 4 years for it what a joke, shouldn't be boxing, shouldn't be allowed to compete. _________________ The black & white jumper, worn by heroes worshipped by millions. |
