2005 Best and Fairest Voting

The 2005 Presentation Night held at the Yarraville Club saw the popular Jeremy Dukes win the Gerry Callahan Medal for Best and Fairest. First year player Patrick Rose won the Bill Sheahan Memorial Trophy as Best and Fairest for the Reserves. Outlined below are the top 10 vote getters in
both grades.

Jeremy Dukes also won the Ron James Memorial Trophy as the Most Valuable Player voted by the playing group. Kath Sheahan received the Bill “Darkie” Raffle Memorial Trophy for the best Clubperson.

Phil Warren from Warren’s Dry Cleaning received Life Membership for his efforts in washing/dry cleaning all of the player jumpers/trainers towels etc for over 20 years.

Gerard Drew who has been both a member and treasurer of the Gull’s Supporters Group for over 10 years was also awarded Life Membership.

Gerard and his wife Mandy were tireless workers at Bingo for the club.
