Just when I thought i'd seen it all... LOL How could he possibly put on more muscle? Tarrant is going to end up running round the field like Goldberg of WCW fame. _________________ Tradition? Pfft you call merging with Fitzroy and cheatin to 3 flags Tradition? Winning 4 flags in a row is history, which makes tradition! |

Too right, YL, Tazza is already a tank, and should probably pass a little bit of it on to Ruz and C3!
In all seriousness, I actually believe he should just leave himself as it is. He is in the perfect shape to play on the HFF, roaimg up the field and flying for big marks. He is already in great shape, and should be aiming at least to play to his standards set in 2003.
Get over the niggling knee/groin injuries, and watch out. |

Bit on the legs for Taz wont hurt a bit. I just hope it doesn't affect his pace. He is one of the fastest over 100m in the AFL. No backman can stay with him when he heads up the wing. _________________ "MAKE COLLINGWOOD GRATE AGAIN" |

He's going to be a monster, but as has been said, he needs to add power in his legs now. At the moment they're too skinny for his huge upper body.
He needs to lay off the beach weights for a little bit. |

also decreases speed and flexibility.
His gotta find a happy median, his speed and verticle leap are his major assets and too much bulk can affect both of them. hopefully it is leg muscles and not arm muscles. _________________ Like Nicks, why not donate

The incredible thing is that "Before" picture is 2 years old. He's a lot bigger than that already, and he's planning to bulk up even more. |

he may be bulking up in terms of core body strength. Cos dont forget he still gets mauled consistently. He doesnt have the body on body strength to survive that kind of punishment. Big chunky arms might look good, but they dont do anything if he gets pushed off the ball every time he has to go body on body. |

Its was actually taken during the 2002 PF against Adelaide (a wondeful day). But you are still correct, he continues to build up. |

If you read what Mick said carefully, Chris is building up his lower body, ie. legs.
Chris has suffered too many soft tissue injuries in his legs and Butters is going to rectify that.
The lack of lower body size results in a high centre of gravity and decreases his effectiveness in a close marking situation.
Note for Feb 26, this is simething for the backs to consider against the Aints, if you can get G-train off balance he is useless, because his centre of gravity is so high. Where defenders make a big mistake against him is they allow him to stand his ground. Get him moving and give him as legal a nudge as possible. _________________ "MAKE COLLINGWOOD GRATE AGAIN" |

I have always felt he needs to put on another 3-5kg because he repeatedly gets smashed in packs by players with 5cm and 5kg on him. It's a matter of mass, not muscle. |

If this is the case, it is more than likely that taz will be played at full forward rather than being the dominant half forward that everyone other than MM knows he can be. With more strength in his legs, will his kicking for goal improve? If he's kicking from 40+ metres out and doesn't have to kick as hard this could help his accuracy. His technique seems sound. |
