months, this man made a full recovery after suffering a shattered hip,
broken
leg, several broken ribs, internal injuries and "soft tissue" damage.
Doctors
credited his recovery to the fact that the post lodged itself so tightly
that there
was little or no blood loss.

I remember seeing a documentry once, I guy was up in a tree cutting off branches, and he fell, and landed on a big branch, about 1/2 the thickness of the one there.. it went up his anus, and then tore thru, and went all the way up near his heart.. the opened him up and everything, and you could actually see the wood inside his body.. lucky for him they didnt hit any organs or anything, it just kinda slid all the way thru.

Haha I flicked it on, I swear..
Haha, I was flicking thru channels and I watched a bit of the re-anacment bit, and it was pretty interesting.. This was ages ago tho.
