This guy has turned out to be an absolute champ! I have never respected a National Party politician more than I respect this bloke. Iron Bar Tuckey's typically moronic response to his antics was great value. Suffer you coalition wimps because you've actually got someone with a bit of testicular fortitude in your ranks.

It must be frustrating for Howard that now he finally has full control of the senate, and one of his own party members turns against him. I'm not sure if Joyce's stance is right, but at least its good to see democracy is alive and well.

I expect Barnaby to crumble by the time it gets to a vote.
Certainly good of him to make all the right noises and will have some small effect on legislation, but when it comes to the crunch he will reward the people who put him on the gravy train.
And that is not the electorate of Australia.
