Just watching ten news and Nick says he wants a 3 year contract and is happy to stay at Collingwood. He says he expects to sign within a month. All I can say is YES!YES!YES!YES!YES!YES! What great news i am so happy and today i went to the buckley brigade clinic and i spoke to him and he said he loves the club and he wants to end his career with the pies!!!WHAT GREAT NEWS!

Millane42, I think it's fair enough for supporters to speculate. He leaves all the details to his mananger. It will be sorted evenyually. Meanwhile thousands of Collingwood supporters can discuss this and all other things Collingwood - good and bad. We just need to bear in mind that the CFC is a place players want to be at these days. We can only take the good 'uns though. Competition is fierce and getting fiercer. The line starts at Vic Park and snakes it's way to the G. We can hold some bargaining power with current and prospective players now days.

I think that's spot on MarkT - people want to come to Collingwood. Nick Want's to stay at Collingwood. Mrs Cloke WANTS her sons to palay at Collingwood. It's a great sign! Credit to the admin and MM for setting up such a professional environment.

I agree that everyone wants to be at our club. This is a credit to the great man ED and MM. They have turned our club into a professional unit that has created an atmosphere of success.

It's the fact the he has said these things that I was trying to bring to the attention of this Message board. I don't think talking about Nick saying that he wants to stay is putting extra pressure on him.

Well said "iLuVlonie"! he is a champion just like every other player at collingwood!! He might not be in good form at the moment only because he is injured but when he recovers he will really lift and he'll start kicking some goals!!!!
And i am shore that if we get into the finals we are really going to need someone like Nick who can run,mark and can kick>>we can't just rely on Taz!!!

YEAH!!!!!!! that is such good news even though i am a 100% pies supporter it would be very hard to lose ur fav player! He is easily one of our best players, yes he may of had a rough first couple of weeks but who wouldnt with an injury. Luv ya heaps nick!!!
