It is pretty ironic that with a the fuss over eddie and his calling duties that so many of the media are blatently barracking against collingwood in their broadcasts.On triple M yesterday Doug Hawkins was putting down collingwood at every chance,whilest Steve Quartermain has addmitted in the past of his hate for the magpies and this shows in his call.Gerald healy wasen't any better on channel 9 and we already know how Mike Sheahan rate's us.

It seems to me the whole melbourne media is waiting for collingwood to fall on its face without realising that collingwood winning is good for football.look at the teams that make up the top 8 and see how many melbourne teams are in it.and without collingwood supporters going to every game this year rain,hail or shine the AFL's crowd figures would be even lower.all i can hope is tht we keep playing good footy so these so-called experts end up with egg on their faces.
